As you have no doubt realised by now, my name is Ian McKenzie, and I live in a place called Beaudesert Shire in South East Queensland, Australia.

Photography has never been work for me, but more an interest, ....a hobby,.....a passion even! As well as actually photographing, I used to also enjoy the chemistry side of photography. Experimenting with different filters on the enlarger, different developing chemicals, photographic papers and so on! In these modern technological times, all of these effects and more can be achieved more easily and quickly using computer software programs to manipulate the digital images.

Very little computer manipulation has been done to the most of galleries on this site. The exception of course is my Photographic Artistry page.

My main work in the past has been in the area of education and training. I have taught and held administrative positions in each of the schools sectors; primary, secondary and special, as well as having lectured and held positions such as Head of Faculty and Manager of Studies in the tertiary sector.

Currently I am Director of a company called Professional Performance Australia,(PPA) which is mainly concerned with personal and organisational wellness, and the implementation of programs which improve these. Although our emphasis is on “people” and not “profits”. We have found that organisations which have happier and healthier people in them will also have improved ROI’s. One of the departments of PPA is International Education Symposiums which has a product called Conferences For One. We have here an extensive range of world class programs related to personal and professional development. Please take a look!.

One aspect of photography in which I would like to do more work is in the portrait side of things..., both people and pets!
